Safe Beds Program
Category of Service | Short-Term Crisis Support Beds
Safe Beds is a program in Halton Region, providing short-term support to adults, 16 years of age and older, experiencing mental health crisis. The program is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. There are six beds available for short-term support. Safe Beds is located at 53 Bond Street, Oakville and have two staff available on site 24 - 7. One Mental Health Crisis Support Worker and one Mental Health Peer Support Worker. Individuals seeking our service are encouraged to engage in crisis planning and Recovery planning. We aid individuals to identify what their current crisis entails and support individuals to attempt to address and resolve issues related to their crisis. We aid individuals to connect with community partners when appropriate. This program is available for any individual who is experiencing a mental health crisis.
